Stella McCartney To Design LeSportsac Range 31 January 2007 Stella McCartney announces she will partner with LeSportsac, a leading manufacturer of functional and iconic handbags to design a series of limited edition lifestyle collections focusing on travel bags, luggage and baby accessories. The first Stella McCartney for LeSportsac collection is set to launch in Spring 2008.

The collections will incorporate innovative elements of design and will focus on travel accessories with an emphasis on baby. Ideal for the modern woman that does not want to sacrifice style and luxury for function, the collections will be lightweight and multi-purposeful. The Stella McCartney for LeSportsac collection will embody the same ethics as the designer's current luxury non-leather accessories collection that was launched in Fall 2006." Ski wear in particular is famed for it's dated and masculine shapes, so McCartney set about designing hats, jackets, trousers, thermals and boots with women in mind. Australia : Target to offer Stella McCartney fashion range

Outlets of Target Corporation will be stocking a collection of dresses, jackets and pants by famous designer Stella McCartney, to be launched only in Australia. Stella agreed to make the 42 piece collection because previously her designs for European chain store H&M were a big hit. According to McCartney, aim of the collection is to offer dresses which are chic and sensuous, yet comfortable. She wants more women to be aware of her label. Range is to be introduced at the 2007 L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. It will be available exclusively in Target stores from March 12, 2007.
