December 22, 2006 Sneak Peak: Stella McCartney Does Skincare Already known for her beautiful clothing and accessories (that pals like Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johannson love), designer Stella McCartney is introducing a skincare line, appropriately called Care. Launching in the US in February on sephora.com, it will include seven products, from a cleansing milk to a green-tea-and-linden-blossom floral water, all made with 100% organic (0% petrochemicals, 0% silicones, 0% chemical preservatives) ingredients to match McCartney's all-natural, vegetarian principles. The packaging is gorgeous and streamlined and the products feel amazing (I'm addicted to the musk rose-spiked Nourishing Elixir already.) To let all of us beauty editors in on the big news, we were invited to lunch at a chic, modernist Meatpacking District flower shop. The designer, who was eight months pregnant at the time, couldn't be there so she taped a video message that we watched while dining on a dainty vegan lunch and testing the products.
